What we know about you.

Plain language. No dark patterns. We comply with the GDPR and the Swiss nDSG.

What we collect

  • The YouTube URLs you analyze. These are public videos and we cache the resulting analysis JSON keyed by video ID — anyone visiting the same URL gets the cached version.
  • A one-way hash of your IP + user agent + video ID, used only to deduplicate votes. We cannot reverse this hash to identify you.
  • Aggregate vote counts (no individual votes are stored alongside identifying data).
  • Stripe-handled donation records, when you donate. Stripe is our processor.

What we don't collect

  • Your email, unless you donate (Stripe handles it).
  • Your name, unless you put it in a donation message.
  • Cross-site identifiers, advertising IDs, or fingerprinting data.
  • Any tracking cookies. Plausible analytics is cookieless.

How long we keep it

  • Analysis JSON: indefinitely — that's the cache.
  • Vote dedup hashes: 12 months.
  • Stripe records: as required by Swiss law.
  • Server logs: 30 days.
